Bowen's role in luxating patella's in dogs

A luxating patella is a kneecap that moves out of its normal location in the trochlear groove. Many of my patients come to me for luxating patella concerns. Depending on the grade of severity I have had significant success in treating and maintaining luxating patellas through Bowen Therapy, and for those who do require surgery, Bowen is the ideal modality to provide rehabilitation support. By working on the patella ligament we can strengthen and structure the musculature of the patella itself, and further develop the surrounding muscles.
