Building strong muscles

It is important for our dogs muscle building and proprioception for them to walk on a multitude of different surfaces. Walking on concrete is great for building certain muscles (and for filing down nails!) but these generally flat surfaces can only do so much. Walking on undulating hikes, up and down stairs, over rocks, or on sand impacts other finer muscle groups that are just as important to your dogs overall wellbeing. That said, we always want to do things that are appropriate for our dogs age, current body health, or if they are under treatment (for example, sandy beaches and hikes are to be avoided up to 5 days after a Bowen treatment)
